Vanessa Falabella was voted Best Brazilian Singer in the United States by the Brazilian Press Awards 2016. A singer songwriter of unique talent, Vanessa has a broad musical range and repertoire. Her talent has taken her in tours throughout the world both as a solo singer and with groups as distinct as The Platters and Cyro Baptista's Vira Loucos. A trained Mezzo-Soprano, Vanessa has recorded with artists such as Gato Barbieri, Philippe Saisse, Sadao Watanabe, Jason Miles, Will Lee and Eumir Deodato, Cidinho Teixeira Trio, or Misha Piatigorsky Trio.

She has four solo albums : VIBE, Falabella de Cartola, and a Tribute to Clube da Esquina, and is releasing Loving Whisper at Joe's Pub, August 21, 2019, and recording the EP of her new songs.

Vanessa’s repertoire ranges from Brazilian classics such as Tom Jobim, Johnny Alf, Milton Nascimento, Toninho Horta, Sérgio Mendes, Elis Regina and Nana Caymmi, to more regional sounds like samba, samba-jazz and baião from Northeast of Brazil, as well as her passion for Stevie Wonder, Sting, Donny Hathaway, Sarah Vaughan, Joni Mitchell, Claudine Longet, and Nina Simone.

Vanessa Falabella is a versatile singer, who brings lots of energy and joy to the stage. In New York City she has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Zinc Bar, Club Bonafide, Café Wha, Town Hall, Subrosa, BBKing, and S.O.B.'s 'Sounds of Brazil.

Vanessa has performed in the finest jazz clubs in Brazil, Italy, Chile, Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong and New York City. She can be heard with her band, Brazilian Music Soul with Carlos Dias, or with her trio, as well as a DJVocalist.
